TOOPLE PRIVACY NOTICE
Last Updated
: August 22, 2025
Introduction
Welcome to toople—[a no-code AI-powered database
builder to create, query, and share custom online databases]—by Infinitera,
Inc. (“Infinitera” or “we” / “us” / “our”)! We
are really glad you’re here (seriously!). Now look, we know privacy policies
read terribly; you scroll, you squint, you sigh, you click “accept,” and you
move on without a second thought. We get it.
But this matters. It’s about
your data, your rights, and how we respect them both.
So, we made our
Privacy Notice (this “Notice”) as clear, brief, and (dare we say) almost
pleasant to get through.
Scope? You + toople = This Notice
This Notice only applies to you if you are using toople. It doesn’t
apply to our website, our other (equally awesome) products, or anything else
floating around the Infinitera universe. If toople ever takes you to another
website or links away from the toople platform, you are no longer in toople
territory and we have no control over how your data may be collected, stored,
or used by others outside of our online application.
Children‘s Privacy
toople is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect Personal
Data from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have collected Personal Data from a child
under 16, we will delete it. If you believe we might have information from or about someone
under 16, please contact us at privacy@toople.app.
Data We Collect
From You: What, Why, and How?
When you use toople, we collect some
information, including information that may identify you or could be used (by
itself or in combination with other data reasonably available) to identify you
(i.e., “Personal Data”). We collect your information not because we are
nosy, but because toople wouldn’t work without it, we want to provide you with
quality service, and sometimes we need to fix things, improve stuff, or keep
bad actors out.

We do not seek to collect more of your Personal Data than necessary to provide you with toople, and we never want to collect your sensitive personal data (like health, biometric, or government ID information).
Please, please, do not provide us with more information than required to fulfill a support or other request
.
When it comes to the actual content of your databases, we do not
regularly monitor or view such information. However, there may be times you
choose to share it with us (for example, when asking for help), or when it’s
necessary to enforce our Terms of Use
.
In any event, any such data viewed will be used only for the limited purposes
of providing you with support or enforcing our Terms of Use
.
Recap: How We Use Your Information
We do not sell your Personal Data.
We do, however, use your information, including Personal Data (such as your name, email, billing address
,
and IP address) to:
·
Create and manage your toople account, making sure you’re matched with the right subscription and features (because free accounts aren’t going to upgrade themselves).
·
Provide and maintain toople (i.e., we keep it running so that you can keep using it).
·
Respond to support requests (ideally, helpfully).
·
Notify you of any issues with toople, your account, or your databases.
·
Improve toople’s features and performance by
understanding how people actually use them.
·
Detect abuse or violations of our Terms of Use
(although, per our Terms of Use
,
we do not and cannot feasibly actively monitor every user and database).
·
Comply with legal obligations.
·
Send you important notices about your account or toople updates.
·
Send marketing communications (but only the kind you can opt-out of)
Again, for those in the back,
we do not sell your
Personal Data
.
Sharing Information with Others
We may share your information, including Personal Data, only when necessary to:
1.
Service Providers
. These are the folks who help make toople happen for
you, including hosting providers, payment processors, and other core
infrastructure partners. We require these parties to protect any Personal Data
they process on our behalf and to limit their use to the services they’re
providing to us.
2.
Legal Authorities
. When required by law or legal process, we may share
your information to comply with obligations, respond to lawful requests, or
defend against legal claims. Of course, we all hope it never comes to that.
3.
Your Authorized Parties
. If you choose to share a database or connect toople
with another app or service, we’ll share the necessary information with those
parties to make that connection happen for you.
4.
Business Transfers
– In the event of a proposed or actual
reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, financing,
or other disposition of all or any portion of toople’s business, assets, or
stock (including in connection with bankruptcy or similar proceedings), your
data may be transferred to the relevant parties as part of that process. Any
such transfer will remain subject to the protections described in this Notice.
“
Wait, toople’s using AI? How does that affect my data?”
Here’s the deal: only your prompts and database structures are sent to
the AI engine—never your actual database content. Each AI call is stateless,
meaning it doesn’t remember past requests. Prompts and results are logged for
diagnostics only, so we can make the features better (and keep them from doing
something weird, although perhaps that’s a failed cause because AI is kind of,
by nature, a little weird).
We do not use AI to profile you, track you
across websites, or make decisions that have legal or significant effects on
you.
We do, however, use AI to help you: (a) create databases from your
prompts, and (b) generate structure query language (“SQL”) commands
(i.e., instructions that tell a database exactly what information to find, add,
change, or remove).
Your Controls and Choices
We aim to put you in control of your Personal Data. To that end, we offer the following options for managing your Personal Data:
1.
Access your account information
– Sign in to view your profile details, subscription
status, AI query counts, and account activity.
2.
Delete your account
– Request deletion by contacting us. Before
deletion, you’ll need to remove your databases, shares, and cancel paid
subscriptions. After a 30-day pending deletion period, your account will be
permanently removed (with only minimal non-identifying records kept for abuse
prevention and entitlements).
3.
Export your data
– Request a copy of your database content, account metadata, or other stored information.
4.
Correct your information
– If your name or email changes in your identity provider (e.g., Microsoft Entra), those changes flow automatically into toople.
5.
Opt in or out of deep logging
– Choose whether to share detailed query and API
history for troubleshooting.
6.
Manage marketing communications
– Opt out of marketing emails at any time by
following the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
Your U.S. State Rights
State consumer privacy laws may provide their residents with additional
rights regarding our use of their Personal Data. Whether these legal rights
apply to you depends on your state of residence and whether toople meets the
thresholds set by that jurisdiction’s law. Depending on your state, these
rights may include:
·
The right to know what personal data we collect about
you and how we use it.
·
The right to request a copy of your personal data.
·
The right to request deletion of your personal data
(subject to certain exceptions).
·
The right to correct inaccurate personal data.
·
The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data or targeted advertising (note: we do not sell or share Personal Data for advertising purposes).
·
The right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive
personal data.
International (Non-U.S.) Rights
If you live outside the United States, you may have rights under your
country’s privacy laws—such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and the United Kingdom (“U.K.”)
GDPR.
For example, if you’re an EEA or U.K. Resident
, the GDPR or UK GDPR may provide you with the following rights:
1.
Access and correction
– You can request a copy of the personal information we
hold about you and ask us to correct it if it’s wrong.
2.
Withdraw consent
– If you previously gave us consent to process your
data, you can change your mind and withdraw that consent at any time.
3.
Erasure and restriction
– You can ask us to delete your personal information
or limit how we use it.
4.
Portability
– You can request a copy of your personal information
in a portable, easy-to-use electronic format.
If you believe we haven’t handled your EEA or U.K. rights request
properly, or that we haven’t processed your personal information in line with
the law, you also have the right to file a complaint:
·
In the EEA
:
with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work. A
list is available here:
http://ec.europa.eu/justice/article-29/structure/data-protection-authorities/index_en.htm.
·
In the UK:
with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO):
http://ico.org.uk/
.
As you can see, many U.S. state and international rights
overlap with the controls and choices we already provide to all toople users
(see above)
. To make a consumer privacy request regarding your Personal
Data, please email us at privacy@toople.app
.
Please note that, with any consumer rights request, we:
·
May need to verify your identity before fulfilling
your request.
·
May not be able to fulfill a
request if an exception applies (for example, records we need for legal or
security purposes).
·
Will not discriminate against you
for exercising your privacy rights.
·
May not be legally required to honor certain requests
if the state law granting that right does not apply to toople, but we will make
a good-faith effort to consider and respond to reasonable requests.
Data Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to
protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access
controls, and regular security monitoring. No method is ever 100% secure, but
we work to keep your information safe.
Changes
to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our
practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. Your continued
use of toople after such changes are made constitutes your agreement to this
Notice as revised. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you at login and
require you to review and accept the updated notice. The “Last Updated” date
at the top of this Notice tells you when it was last revised.
